My lovely friend invited me to coffee today, and was so thoughtful of my "dietary needs", she kindly bought me a "sugar free" pumpkin bread. Stressing it was only 173 calories and 23 carbs for for 2 pieces. I smiled and place one slice on my plate. How can I look into her loving brown eyes and not take a slice? She was trying to be so thoughtful. Our other friend that joined us is counting cals so she had some too. I politely ate a few bites and luckily she has a dog, so when her back was turned.....

My friends, simply, don't really understand this WOE. I rarely get to see this friend (We used to be closer when we both were SAHM). So I'd hate to say anything to hurt her feelings. I think next time we have Coffee Chat, I'll bring a little something to share with her (that I can eat). :)

Well, I guess it didn't really matter since I ate CRAP today. Just CRAP! I was technically under my NC, Sodium, & Cals numbers, but no veg or nutritional value at all. On the run all day and didn't plan, very busy up until I got home at 7:30 tonight. I'm not working now, you'd think my schedule would ease up, but no!

Went to Pumpkin patch tonight with my Son's Cub Scout troop (I'm Wolf Scout Den Leader now.....don't ask) So ended up walking for almost 2 hours but was in the corn maze when the sun went down and ended up tripping and falling in the dirt. Back, neck, knee, and ancle sore now. Wish my Hot Tub was up tonight, but ran out of chemicals. :(

However, I really did have an overall good day. I'm thankful for:

Halloween decorations are almost done
Son's wonderful/fun boy scout troop (boys and parents)
My great girlfriends with their little girls (3 1/2 yrs & 13 mos) Getting my cutie baby fix but going home and getting a good night's sleep! HA
sugar free candy (tis the season- house already full of Hershey's chocolate products)
technically eating crappy but didn't actually cheat and eat fries or blueberry muffins.
DH waiting for me to get off the computer so we can actually talk for the first time today at 8:45 pm.
