Yesterday I went to a check up for the benign cancer I have in one of my breasts. I was super scared, since my mother died of breast cancer and it all started with a benign stuff that became malign.
So, everything went fine. It was such a relief! :)

Yesterday I celebrated by eating some chinese food. I know I should have not done it, cause I feel bloated since Sunday and I not supposed to eat rice. But I did it and it tasted so good (after one month without pasta, rice, potatoes etc). I had to celebrate, somehow, and felt too tired to cook something. Back on track from today :)

Two nights ago I had a long phone call with a former colleague and friend. She gave me some hints about how to get some funding to complete the project I have been working on. It was very good advice, and I am going to work on that and hope to have funding.

I am in contact with a former high school mate, thinking about doing a photo exhibition in our hometown during Xmas holidays or next summer. I am super excited about the idea!
It's so nice I started making plans for the future after so many months of nothing. I am able to do things I enjoy, to spend time and energy on my hobbies (photography, sports, scientific outreach). I am able to work again. I feel alive, I feel like I have the same energy levels of when I was 22 (and the same lack of sleep of when I was 22).

I am so glad to have a normal life again. Sometimes people complain their lives are boring or meaningless, I think they don't understand that ill persons are longing to have a bit of an ordinary life.

Uesterday evening, after work, I went to a cafè close home. Everything seemed so beautiful and precious to me. Even this tiny little town that I did not like when I moved here two years ago. People walking home, shops closing, other peolpe laughing and chatting in the cafeteria. I was in a bliss state of mind.

Hi Lindsay! I haven't been able to appreciate both, little things and important things in life for a really long time. It's something I learnt to do day by day and it's amazing, it improves life a lot. I used to have a nice life and I was not able to realize it. After loosing all the important things, I am learning to appeciate all the small things. I am in love with life! :)
