jaime30024's Journal, 10 October 2012

Okay yesterday was one of those days that I didn't eat much sugar or starches and I felt better. It was the nudge that I needed (without trying) HOPEFULLY to get me back on track. I have aches and pains that I don't get when I minimize the carbs in my life.

I found a new challenga and group that goes along with it that seems like it will have daily activity...that is another great thing.

So now for me to work exercise back into my life.

I had sent an email out to a friend on here a long time ago checking on her because she kind of disappeared. I got a response from her today that she had been MIA. That response was just what I needed today to help nudge me. So I will try to take it one day at a time and check in to this new group.

Update
Okay so I will try to update my journal entries through the day (as needed). I work on EST living in the Pacific Northwest. This means that at 9:30am my time most people I work with are taking their lunches. So rather than working through my 30 minute lunch break (as I generally do...because everyone takes lunch a different times and I am constantly answering emails) I will take a 15 minute break (weather permitting) and walk. This will let me use my RunKeeper app and get me in some exercise. So I got in .79 miles in 13:32 minutes. That is not too bad since I have not been walking or ellipticalling or anything else....with exception of the couple of hikes we did over the weekend in Glacier Park.
