Today starts my fourth week of induction. I'm losing steadily, so I think I'm going to wait a while to add the 5 more net carbs of vegetables. Maybe next week.

Since I started dieting I've lost 17.2 pounds. Since I've started Atkins I've lost 7.9 pounds, three this week since I broke my stall.

I'm happy with the food. I do not feel deprived, but I'll be happy when I do relax things a bit. I'm going to do all of the phases meticulously this time and work out a plan for the rest of my life. I refuse to be in the same situation with my weight yet again. Making small efforts every day on a program that is completely doable is preferable by far to finding myself with 80 pounds to lose.

I feel so much better physically and emotionally. I'm off prescription antidepressants and anxiety medication. I'm taking the natural herbs and vitamins route. I'm in much better shape. I can take 2-3 classes at the gym a day without feeling unduly tired and sore.

Life is good...
