Good thing it's Monday.;-)

Very sorry I've been away! Oddly have been downcast and struggling with carbs since middle of last week. Trying hard various times to get back on track. Damage is probably 4 pounds now??? Will step on the scale after three good days, hoping Wednesday.... Glad that today is finally Monday! Feels like a corner of sorts and am stronger.

Sadly activity level is still basically sedentary, and back/leg pain flares suddenly. Getting a bit more mobile, however, walking around stores now and driving for longer stretches, but appetite seems to be growing? And with less focus needed on pain relief, boredom, loneliness, and the blues creep up sometimes. Realize that I need to get my mind in the right frame again.... For starters, very glad to be on FS again!!!

Unbelievably God has been working through my (current) aloof, and b____y doctor. She has extended my medical leave to November 13, right after the Remembrance Day long weekend. Incredibly blessed not to have work related stress for the next month!!!:O Need to make this gift count!!!

Definitely have reached the highest weight gain I am willing to put back on, and need to crawl my way out of this now! Might sign up for "Weigh Down Ministries" online class in the coming weeks to distract me from food and keep my mind busy with Bible study. Repenting, staying on my face. Don't care what it's going to take!!! Practising hour by hour, EVERY DAY. Changing EVERYTHING. Most importantly, praying for a closer relationship with God.

Nice to have your leave extended. I hope everyday finds you healing more and getting stronger. It's hard to keep yourself motivated under such circumstances. Do they know why this happened? That would have me wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent it in the future? It's nice to have the time off especially so you can be paid, but it also hard being off on leave like that and keeping your spirits up. Hang in there!

I am so glad they extended your leave until you are feeling better. It's great that you have this time to concentrate on getting better without the stressors of work and guilt. It's tough to keep yourself up when you are not feeling well and still having pain. The online course sounds great. Can you give me some more information on it?
