Ahhhh.....

The scale really did say 140 lbs this morning - but after that, today was a dieting disaster and it isn't even over yet (although I'm not likely to eat much more before midnight. Its going to be a long night. I guess the good news is that I've been really good the rest of the week so I haven't exhausted my supply of flex points yet - but it was one of those days where one bad decision led to another.

I'm probably going ot be up late again tonight and up early tomorrow - but whether my presentation flops or flies tomorrow I get to go to bed as soon as I want tomorrow night and I'm sure everything will seem better with the worst over for a bit and some significant sleep. I guess one bridge at a time. I can get back to work relosing whatever I gained today tomorrow and somehow come up with a decent, rehearsed presentation tonight and prep for an interview and breathe...... because the sun will rise and set tomorrow regardless of what I do - and I will get up the next day and keep plodding forward until I get where I need to be because that is life - and it only moves in one direction...
140.0 lb Lost so far: 55.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Don't worry about this one off day. You are almost at the 30 pound mark and that is amazing! Just start fresh tomorrow and when you are hungry try to eat fruit and vegetables. Often times when we think we are hungry it's because our body is actually craving liquids so try water as well when this happens. I would wish you good luck but you really don't need it. You are doing an awesome job already!!

You can do it!! I didn't see this post until april 3. How did your presentation go? Or maybe you haven't given it yet...if so Good Luck!!! You have the right attitude....The sun will rise and set tomorrow regardless of what you do. From reading your journal I know you will jump right back on track when you can.

Just take a deep breath and start all over! Remember there will be times we all mess up and have bad days. Just keep your chin above the water and rescue will come! : )
