Frustrated at the slow weight loss. Last Tuesday, I FINALLY dropped to 201.8 after going up for no reason whatsoever. I am using that weight since I am probably up again FOR NO REASON. I am a bit frustrated but feel there is no alternative. When I put "reasonably well' it means NOT that I have cheated, I have not, including during a cruise and several bit weddings and birthday parties, but have eaten less than I was supposed to.
I started this diet at 252 in June 2011, but did not go on Fat Secret until the Fall when I had dropped considerable weight. Then it just stopped. It has taken me almost a year to lose 25 lbs. And now I have slowed down to a lb a month, if that. It IS going in the right direction, but it is frustrating when you started with a friend who was almost 100 lbs more and is now almost your weight, and who even cheated several times big time. So I am a bit upset, but hanging in there.
201.8 lb Lost so far: 50.2 lb.    Still to go: 41.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hang in there! When I first started, I was losing 10-14 pounds a month, and now I'm down to losing only 4 pounds a month or so. I understand your frustration. I read though that the best thing you can do for yourself if focus on CONSISTENCY- healthy eating consistently and exercising. You will get there! Everybody's bodies are different :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I just checked the comments now. I do hang in- I am really a healthy eater and have been for years but menopause and hypothyroidism did me in. I gained eating healthy.
