Greetings, Buddies! I feel like I have been lagging along the past week. I did an "easy" exercise DVD this morning and was still tired at the end!

Today's food plan is all good - as long as I follow it well.

Feel free to give me a good swift kick in the gluteus maximus to help me get better motivated this week! My pancreatic cancer bicycle ride is THIS weekend, so I want to get with it!


Grateful for:

- The good health of my loved ones

- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue
- "Butt-kicking" myself to a smaller size today
- My DH - who is my greatest "cheerleader"
- My Bengal cat companions named Bodhi and Ravi
- My work - which has meaning and worth to other human beings
- My connection to the Mother Earth and its entire splendor
- My physical health

Maybe your body is trying to tell you something - like no more pretzels! Just build back into your exercise routine slowly. You know you've got this!

It seems like such a paradox but I always feel better after a really heavy duty workout. It clears the mind, lifts the spirit and energizes the body. So consider you butt kicked - get out there and move :) It does a body good!!!

Lol, I had to laugh at the no more pretzels. My wife is a pretzel nut too. She used to lay in bed and eat about a whole bag a night. Luckily she is doing better now, hehe. Plus, we cant really get good ones here....

I miss pretzels so much - they are the best for the crunchy salt thing and easily found. I have switched to homemade Pita Chips using whole wheat pockets. All 6 pockets only need about a TBSP of EVOO and any spices you like. Bet you can find Pita bread Posterchild66 :)

@posterchild - YES! My husband loves his sourdough pretzel nuggets so last night we were watching TV and he was loudly munching away! And, then he steals MY snack of raw almonds, too! GRRRR...

Mine just bought a huge bag of Ruffles, I guess it's to keep him company while he watches TV. Mind you, he drives all the way down to the beach to a specialty yogurt parlor for NONFAT frozen yogurt which precedes his nightly foraging. Got to love these lucky people who never gain. Just wish I were one of them.
