I've lost no weight since last week. Grr. I know I haven't been as strict with my diet this time around, but I'm now working out 3 days a week (as opposed to the 1 day a week from May), incorporating in weight training as well as cardio. What am I doing wrong? The friend who has been creating the diet/exercise plan for me and my husband just further restricted my caloric intake from 2000 calories to 1800. I'm not going to be able to adhere to it without depriving myself of all of my favorite foods, bah! If I feel deprived, it just makes me want the food more and I start obsessing about it. I need some motivation because changing my lifestyle without seeing any results is disheartening.
184.4 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 44.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

First google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. If your exercising, it gives good information. If your metabolism is slow, you may need to eat less calories in order to lose weight. Exercise helps, but the most important part of weight loss is your diet. Food is fuel for the body and we are all what we eat. If you fuel your body with crap, it eventually shows. Find a balance with the foods you love. Watch your portions. Learn to lighten up some recipes. Cookinglight.com, emilybites.com and skinnytastes.com all have great recipes to try. Get plenty of lean protein and high fiber to keep you satiated longer so your not so hungry. Losing weight is hard, being fat is hard, you have to choose your hard.
