I'm proud of myself. I did much better today. As promised, I started my new vegetable rich regimen today. I started by having a salad for dinner tonight. That cut back on the fat content a lot, except for the dressing and the cheese. I just get sick at the thought of vinegar or something like that so I had ceasar. Anyway, I did at least decrease the amount of both the dressing and the cheese I put on my salad and increased the lettuce instead.
I also went shopping today and bought lots of vegetables, mostly frozen. Broccoli, corn and some neat little combo things with 3 or 4 veggies in there...not sure if the sauces they come in are going to be full of fat or not. But at least I'll get my veggies so that's a plus either way. At least it's a start.
Best of all, I didn't buy any cookies, cakes, pies or anything. The closest I came to buying junk food was 2 chocolate flavored yogurts, just to see if I like them. I got a carton of strawberry yogurt, there are 10 or 12 in the box I think, so I'll have something on hand when I get the munchies.
I think I'm off to a pretty good start.
