OK, so I've had not one single blood sugar over 100 today. In fact, some were in the low 60s, which is bad for me. I start getting the symptoms of hypoglycemia around 90. So, I'm reducing my evening lantus to 80 units. That's down from 90; previously down from 150.
I'm doing 50 units in the mornings. That's down from 100. I won't change my am dose yet, unless my blood sugar is way low in the morning.
I can't tell you how good it feels to reduce those dosages. I'm off the supplemental diuretic I was taking. The only one left is the one in my blood pressure medication, and I'm hoping to eventually get off of it.
This diet rocks!
