Today I will state my goals (same old goals, it is just that I seem to have forgotten them).

I am estimating that I need to lose 7 pounds to be comfortable in my size 10’s. And it just so happens that there are 7 weeks until October 7th (DH’s birthday).

So my goal is to lose a pound a week until October 7th. It this realistic for me? Well, I can dream can’t I?

So today I am thankful for dreams. Without them we have no path to the future.

Diet Calendar Entry for 19 August 2012:
1780 kcal Fat: 81.99g | Prot: 148.40g | Carb: 115.63g.   Breakfast: Olive Oil, Lettuce, Bacon, Mini pepperoni, Italian Cheese, tomato, brewed coffee, half and half. Lunch: tomato, onion, Dole Salad, Feta Dressing, Lean ground pork . Dinner: Cottage Cheese, Peas, broccoli, carrot chips, cucumbers, cauliflower, pork ribs. Snacks/Other: brewed coffee, cantaloup, half and half, lemon. more...

Hey Buffy I say any loss between now and your DH's birthday is a step in the right direction.....so keep going!!!

Seriously Buffy - it is do-able! If you really WANT this, and are willing to focus, and give up a few things between here and there...push yourself to track, add in short bursts of activity, keep up w/ your water, etc..., then rinse and repeat... (and yes, it will likely get 'old' between here and there...but stick w/ it!) the payout in the end...is reaching your goal! You can do this!!!

Stop dreaming and DO IT! It is very possible, just don't starve yourself. Walk everywhere..... etc.

Tracy - that is what I am thinking - even if I only lost 5 pounds, it would sure be a step forward.
