Interesting! My results show I need to lose about 10 lbs, which is in fact my plan for the next 6 months.

It’s accurate, and I’m going for it as well. 15 pounds.

lol I used to be taller. It’s been a damn difficult curse, being a tall woman.

Omg, y’all know his sickly skinny I would look if I was around 140lb as these sites suggests. 😬 I’m a short 5’10”, tall 5’9”

Kay— since you now know that you probably have some degree of osteoporosis related to bone demineralization due to your prior eating disorder history, it might not be a bad idea to talk to your doctor about a baseline bone density with that past issue in mind. With the milk you drink you probably have enough calcium in your system but the concern may be how your dietary intake of vitamin, D, magnesium and vitamin K are doing. Those are critical for the actual absorption of calcium and making it bioavailable.

Good weight would be 140-45 ish I think.

Y’all Scandinavian woman like me.

Erm, tall rather

Also, has to do with body frame. Medical dietitian measured me at small bone frame, despite my height.

Lol! Looks like we can all dismiss the “formulas” and work toward what our inner self knows is a healthy weight!

@swedishblondie honestly? You wouldn't look sickly skinny. You would at 120 or 130, but not 140.

Losing two inches at your age without a major medical condition or some type of horrific accident is unheard of. Stupid question, sure you were 5'-10" before?

@fauxmulder at my skinniest (also sickest) I was 158lb. Not a pretty sight. Eyes sunken in, collar bones sticking out, still plenty excess skin from massive weight loss but no 140lb would not be a healthy look for me. With that said we all have a different opinion of what “sickly skinny” looks like. 😉

how did you get shorter?
20 Aug 18 by member: sminatozaki
I got so angry-I also shrunk 2 inches at my last physical (at 59). I understand that some 'shrinkage' might be normal, but for it to be unaddressed just made me livid. Why both tracking it if it's not going to be addressed? I did however take it as a wake up-I started working seriously on my posture.

Yup I was 5’10 at my 30th birthday. The physician said that probably due to ruptured intervertebral discs I’ve experienced some spinal changes. Broke my pelvis back in college and that has ruptured discs. Structural changes like bone on bone apparently. Also, an additional pregnancy leading to fallen arches. I understand it physiologically, I just don’t like it. I used to put on my stilettos and soar at 6 ft tall.
