After today I can definitely say, cardio makes you insanely hungry. I guess that is why they say you cannot outrun a bad diet. I took my first rest day since late last month and I am at only ~1300 calories right now and it's almost the end of my day. I was having trouble keeping my calories below 4k on the days I've been running 8+ miles.

That is nuts! I don't remember my eating habits in the Marines, but I do remember the 13 mile runs and coming back to the chow hall and didn't eat tooooo much.

I really don't know how I survived. I'd love to see what my logs woulda looked like back then lol. weigh-ins would have been stable at about 138#, but my CICO would have been 5000 in and (minimum) out!

Reduced a bunch. Hope I still have the motivation to get 3-5 miles per day. Should feel like a short trot. Lol

Tomorrow, I'm trying the toughest of my days on my new routine: super sets of RPT bench-to-pushups.... 3 sets to failure! I'm getting sore just thinking about it lol! And then there's the deads and weighted dips if I'm still alive... ā˜

you know that is funny I always hear about this cardio spiking appetite and I have never felt that effect ever. I burn 400 calories on my bike and it just warms me up. funny how those things work. I guess when your glucose is exhausted it spikes your hunger. interesting difference.

yes, cardio makes me hungry , I still love it, I am not longer walking every day because I don't have time, bu I ride 10 miles bicycle 4-5 days a week . I like to do all kind of exercise to workout my whole body , even yoga for flexibility šŸ˜‰

I also have days that it is hard to eat 900+ calories, and other days when I can eat 4000+ , Saturdays for example šŸ™ŠšŸ˜‚

Lol, I just read baskington's post. A 400 calorie burn wouldn't make me hungry either. My runs burn WAY more than 400 calories.
