For those more knowledgeable than I....

Is it possible to drop from 26.59% BF to 19.22% in about 6 weeks?

The computer that has my information on it at the gym wouldn’t turn on so it may be awhile before my trainer can double check for me. She was able to go online and put my measurements into a calculator and 19.22% was what it came up with.

I find this hard to believe. Yes I work out, but no I’m not going balls to the wall. Typical is Tues 30 min cardio, 20-30 min weights, 10-20 minutes stretching/yoga/piyo sort of stuff at the end. Friday’s are 30 min cardio, 30- 45 min class, 10-20 min stretching.

As for home workouts I don’t have a specific routine yet. Once during the week and once in the weekend I will work on deadlifts, squats, fly, curls etc with 8# dumbbells. Usually tends to be 20-30 minutes each and at least one of those days I’ll walk in the yard or my driveway until I’m bored. My food choices aren’t the healthiest but I’ve found that adding so many snacks means I don’t binge, feel too deprived and obsess about food all day because I know at least one snack is coming. I’m eating just below my maintenance for my activity level and have only lost about 2# since the last BF check. Just confused and assuming a mistake was made or because of a different calculation perhaps. I don’t want to get excited over 19% then find out it’s really 26% still or maybe even 28% with my higher calories lately.

Peeper are you looking at the percentage as an average with weight ? My scale will calculate my BMI but it may not if at all be accurate.

Tired and a headache so it’s hard to think but I’m not sure what you mean. I believe I was 138 6 weeks ago and 136 now. 26% then and 19% BF now. My home scale basically has said the same numbers since we got the thing. Always 38-39% BF and 24-25% skeletal muscle with a 1299-1320 bmr, 23-25 BMI, 6 on visceral fat and body age of 40-42. I can guess what it’ll say because it’s ALWAYS in those ranges.
