Still struggling to get anywhere near a 500 calorie diet. By lunch I've exceeded and I'm having small low carb meals! At least I'm making a solid effort in keeping it under 900 which is half my recommended intake and I'm of a medium activity lifestyle just cuz work takes up so many hours and I'm rushing to squeeze in errands! The good thing is, even with a weekend splurge of alcohol and a 24 hour call day with take out, I was able to keep it under 1800 each day which is a reasonable amount for every single day let alone cheat days! Only 2 more months of these habits and I can gradually increase to a 1500 calorie diet! Anddddd...allow myself desserts! Home made that is! But I'm definitely not getting off this website. Keeping track is the best thing I've ever done.

Eh? Why do you want to go down to 500? I get a lot of flack for eating too little, and I'm averaging around 900 a day. If you're keeping it under 900, I wouldn't worry much about trying to squeeze it all the way down to 500. And I hope you're taking a multivitamin every day as well - I doubt either of us is getting our needed supplementary nutrients out of a 900 or less daily diet. Good luck.
