Nacho bar party at work today. I will be bringing carnitas to top them and think I may just have a chip-free plate. I ate some tortilla chips yesterday for lunch (homemade at the restaurant I was at), so I'm good; I don't need tortilla chips every day :) Reducing wheat is working for me -- I've lost almost all my "gotta' have a snack" cravings. I ate a hot dog bun last night but ate enough other stuff that I didn't feel snacky in the evening. This listening-to-the-body-thing is new to me! I haven't lost all the arthritis aches and pains that some report with wheat elimination, but I am hopeful.

Thanks! I'm trying to get hubby on board with "wheat free". He's not a believer (although he has a tummy). He's lost 30 pounds due to exercise, but he hasn't really noticed that the dinners I've been cooking have been reducing wheat. It was HARD to get him to give up bread alongside pasta! Now I don't even cook pasta, LOL! I bought some last night that's a blend of different grains, so we'll try that and see how we like it. I'm not against wheat, but I can see how my body reacts when I eat it, so I'm not inclined to seek it out right now.
