What part of Nor Cal are you in? We just got back from Oregon and drove the 5 the whole way. The air was so smoky around Mt. Shasta that we couldn't see shadows on the ground! Coming home the air was more clear our way, but wondered if the smoke was gathering somewhere else. I'm glad you have space for your co-worker; we talked to a couple of people who'd lost their homes and it's just devastating.

I remember a fire 30 years ago in the South where we lived. It started end of June. We didn't see the Sun until the end of September.

this week Seattle had the worst air quality days since they began tracking. With fires in Oregon Washington and British Columbia, there is so much smoke everywhere. I hope you stay safe. these fires are devastating.

No evacuations over here Bruce but lots of folks affected by the air quality, hope you guys get a "soaker" rain soon to help the firefighting efforts!!
