Went home for lunch today and prepared one of my husbands Quest Protein shakes for my lunch, OMG! Those things are awesome...I made mine with the Vanilla powder but added a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa because I like chocolate and it was delicious, it was also so filling I could only drink half so I will have the rest for dinner. I'm so happy I like it as I didn't think I would. Now I have a great way to get more fat in since I make them with heavy cream.

watch the carbs, even heavy whipping cream has some carbs when you are getting a half cup verus the one tablespoon.

Lol they do sound really good! I still haven’t tried it. I don’t usually buy carbonated water.

Good god! This is NOT good news for me! That stuff is setting me back $30 a can and I go through 2 cans a week. Oh well what can you do, 'for richer and for poorer...' :)

@CrashtestDawnie - fitting the day I moved on from the carbonated water. My latest way of drinking it is half a scoop protein powder, Splenda, and half a cup of hot water (from my Keurig) and then whipped up with my battery operated whisk.

@Baskington - I realize that carbs start to add up with a lot of cream, but so far it hasn't harmed my loss when I am dieting. Perhaps the high fat content helps.

I was talking to Princess on that one Adef, you can use all the fat and carbs you need with the weight lifting. I did not know if she was just adding a little or drinking a cup worth of cream!

Which is the best powder ? I’m gonna change it up and start doing this. I feel so much better when I don’t eat late at night or do something full of fat in the afternoon to keep me going until the morning.
