I MUST come to grips with the need to be more mindful when we go out. The up-two-pounds/down-two-pounds-during-the-week (more or less) just cannot stand. I've avoided the salads that have such things as dried cranberries and crystallized pecans, but ON BALANCE, that may be the best choice. I'm always careful about carbs, but that doesn't seem to be enough, and fasting is out of the question -- just doesn't agree with me.
New wine plan: Friday nights and one other "floater," either a weekend night or a "wine-and-cheese-with-friends" night.
I am, though, every day, thankful for my overall strength and good health (80 in March).
