I wanted to be good this weekend but unfortunately I failed. I spent my day yesterday driving and helping my brother move back home from College. I had a pretty decent breakfast, but didn't eat again until about 4pm. By that time I was starving and ate everything I could. Then, we got home about 8pm where I ate again, because I felt ill and was hungry. This morning started off ok. I had to grab a bite to eat at McDonald's again. I didn't do too bad but then I came home and now with my brother home, we're falling into such bad habits again. I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow. Ugh.

A busy life doesn't mean you failed. I had a higher calorie day yesterday that I am a bit miffed about however you just need to look ahead and take one day at a time.

I know, I just feel like I failed. I have noticed a pattern though. If I eat terrible, I end up feeling like I'm starving and want to eat all day. If I eat healthy and eat small meals throughout the day, then I'm not as hungry and stay fulfilled.

That's about right. It's a learning experience. When you eat smaller meals through out the day, you never get to the point of REALLY hungry and it is a lot easier to stay on track. When you skip meals, you become ravenous and it seems a lot more appealing to make those bad choices. So it's really just teaching you that you need to take the time for yourself to make sure you eat at reasonable intervals. Make it a priority :) And tomorrow is always a new day.

I definitely need to plan ahead when traveling. I don't think I would have been so ravenous had I brought some healthy snacks to eat along the way lol. :)
