Suzi161's Journal, 29 February 2008

For anyone who may be interested, Woman's World magazine has an article on WW. It features a couple of women who have lost large amounts of weight, and gives menu's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The name of the article is "Extreme Weight Watchers" and is on the front cover. It's not really "extreme" but may help some people who would like to try WW but don't want to join yet. It also gives some pointers on how you may help your metabolism. The menu's are for 24 points (which is about 1350 calories).
166.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 31.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Suzi - Thanks for the comment about Protein, and more small meals. I'll try that as I have been feeling quite deprived lately.

Thanks Suzi, for your comments. They are always encouraging. I am really trying hard to look good for this weekend which is my 6th anniversary and my family trip to Orlando Florida.

Thanks for your feedback. Maintenance is my biggest problem. Always get it off but never keep it off. I better stop saying how easy the weight comes off. This time may be different. Hope not. I am getting older. Still haven't weighed again. So busy during the week. Probably won't get a scale until the weekend. Any suggestions regarding a good scale? I asked before and no one responded. What's the most accurate? This is only week two and I do feel better. It's amazing what our bodies can do. My body seems to immediately start cleansing itself when my diet improves. Pray that I can stay motivated. It's not just about vanity anymore. I don't feel well and I have no energy. I waddle around the house like a pregnant woman. I have to do this.

I don't know what those women do to get into those magazine's, I have lost 130 pounds and when I write in they continually ignore me. Even W.W refused to hire me pretty much because get this, I lost an unrealistic amount of weight for people. That came right out of the mouth of a district hiring lady.

Indie - that's insane.....obviously the location that you went to needs to hire people who are not so inconsiderate. I recently started working for Weight Watchers in Canada and became a leader in New Brunswick. so basically.....what I'm trying to say is that you're amazing for having had the determination, etc it requires to lose all that weight - go you!!!!! you should be so proud :)
