I have been doing poorly at sticking to nutrisystem. I have a pile of the food but other things call to me. It's not even really being hungry. It's that I'm stressed out and need something that makes me feel good. Food shouldn't be that but it's a big problem for me.

I'm the same way, I'm sorry :( I tend to want Carby comfort food, even when there are good healthy options around so I understand.

you have to have a bit of willpower to push past those urges. food is a problem for all of us or we would not be here. try to focus on your goals instead of your urges. find a way to relax, being stressed without a way to release that stress makes things harder. I exercise to release my stress or go bury myself in a book. so many options, you just need to find yours. it really helps

I also struggle with stress eating. I tend to self-medicate with food. nothing like a sugar coma to make me forget for a bit my problems. but when I come out of it, my problems are still there. find out what your eating triggers are and substitute other healthy behaviors. try a walk, meditation, lose yourself in a creative project, call a friend. Good luck in your journey.
