I've been 214 for 2 weeks now. It seems I've hit a plateau. The thing is, I know what it is.

Drinking. My husband takes me out on weekends, and I just love beer. Soooo bad. I've been doing great about limiting, but I know it isn't enough, I have to completely cut out the alcohol from my life right now, because the calorie intake is killing my progress. Thing is, I know I shouldn't, but I feel left out if I don't get to sip a little too. I hate to ask my husband to stop drinking, or even to stop going out, since we've been doing some reconnecting and having so much fun with each other, I just really don't want that to stop. I guess I just have to take a big girl pill.

I cut out SODA, which I thought was going to be the hardest thing to do, but I did it! So I know if I put my mind to it, I can achieve this too.

Got a fitness test on last Sunday. I ran 1 mile in 11:53, did 16 situps in 1 minute, and 17 knee pushups in 1 minute.

Added a running schedule to my workout regime. I do Jillian workouts during the morning/early afternoon, and then after dinner, the running, which the girls accompany me to the track. I think it's cool that my 8 yr old daughter wants to run too, I hope she doesn't get burned out on it, because I think it's awesome, I love watching her run! I try not to show it too much because I don't want her to feel obligated, lol, but I'm mighty proud of her.

Thursday I do a 60 minute easy pace run. Pretty sure I can last that long, but I'm definately going to need some music. lol.

New goals added:
2 mile run in 21 minutes.
45 situps in 2 minutes.
5 regular pushups. Just being able to do them, for starters. HAHA!!

It's also motivating to see myself up on the 50lb challenge as #18. There are about 4 weeks left in the challenge, I thinks, so I'm going to give it hell! :)

Oh - additional goal - Lose 20 lbs by June 15, lol, :) so my family can see me trimmed down a bit as a surprise when I go back to Montana for a week visit!
