My butt is killing me. I went and bought a book to follow for a good strength-building workout, and apparently I have been neglecting my glutes for too long! My last trainer didn't have me do a lot of leg work as I have big legs and he wanted me to focus on upper body. Back in the gym now, and I want to do a good job with a focused routine but I think I have to do an overall workout. I highly recommend having a plan in the gym!
Food, not so good this weekend, but still ok. I skipped breakfast this morning, and took my daughter out for lunch and had a big meal that I split - 1580 calories for the day.
Saturday I got a pair of night stands that I will put in one of the bedrooms. replacing some odds and ends that I put together. Another room pulled together and more items out. I actually gave away an exercise bike that was gathering dust and spiders in the garage for the past 4 years or so. It was pretty easy. I thought for sure the couple would say no, but she saw it and decided right away that she wanted it. So that is cool.
As for Mr. Farmer, I have to say if it works out then great, if it doesn't then dang it, but all in all I realize I am really lucky with the friends that I have - they've been so supportive and also helpful in keeping my thoughts in perspective. I had a fun talk with my daughter today too, my younger one is a sweet girl and car crazy so she's renting a car for a month so that if she gets a full time job in September she can figure out if she needs a car or not, since she lives in Boston right near the subway but might get a job out in the suburbs (so backwards!).
Hope you had a great weekend!

Just curious, what is the name of the strenght training book. (as if I don't have enough of them all ready) I just wish we could by the book and the results would be found with the purchase of the book! lol

I got the book by Ruth Bader Ginsberg's trainer Bryant Johnson: The RBG Workout: How She Stays Strong . . . and You Can Too! Very straightforward, I couldn't do the whole program but I will follow as best I can and get it all eventually. It's 45-minute stretching and strength workout. I know there are plenty of programs and apps out there so I don't necessarily endorse one over another.
