Thursday! Okay, it is 5 weeks to my big check-in date. Although i am trying to not set deadlines for my body, i have hoped i could be nudging down into the 160s by then. Not an impossible goal by weight loss reality show standards, but a tall order.

I don't know what has brought on this blah mood, but it gotsta go. The snacking and skipping workouts (which i did yesterday -- one thing led to another, and then the day was over and i was having wine on the porch with the neighbors) i gotta rein it in.

Okay, okay, here is what i think it is. At least here is what i would think if it was someone else, lol.

I have been trying clothes on, and the thing is, i'm still fat. I have been so excited to hit the 50# mark, and to finally be seeing some changes. And yes, i am having nsvs too. And i am even able to squash myself into some 14s and 12s, though it is not pretty.

So... Idk. I should feel encouraged. This is working, and i am working it! But i feel (irrationally) even more daunted. Like i somehow have even further to go. I feel like it is going slowly and quickly at the same time.

I need more coffee and to remind myself, they're not paying me to think on this project. Just do what i am told and stick to the plan.

Today it is dark and stormy, with a high of 70. Perfect! Rm will likely come home. I am doing double t25 today and tomorrow, to get back on schedule. Hope everyone is keeping cool!

weight loss is a journey and it is not a fast trip. slow and steady will win out in the end. don't try to set yourself goals that will cripple your plan if you don't make them. accept what you can not change/ You are doing great and stay positive.

You are doing great! If you start feeling sorry for yourself, think of me, stuck at the same weight for a month WHILE FASTING! Hahaha

Your funny, i can sooo relate. Your getting comfy in your own body, and it leads to slip ups, at least for me. I have only lost 20, and that wasn't easy! BUT, i want too keep seeing results in smaller clothes, but when I do, it is like SQUISH! SO, i pull back my fashion show and just try on new clothes when I NEED them.. HA.. SO, i don't get discouraged from the tight size 12. I'm glad you enjoyed the wine on the porch! Wine throws me WAYY into evil dieting. I gotta keep that diet killer in check. Keep up the great work. I wish i had 70s here!

You are doing great - don't worry about the numbers just how well you are doing and how much better you feel than you used to! Trying on uncomfortable clothes that don't fit right just makes me depressed which leads to me telling myself to screw it - so I don't wear anything I'm not comfortable in - the sizes WILL drop from all your hard work!

I can relate. You are half-way there. You don't know how it's going to go, but you know it's been hard so far and the future work will probably be harder. But...Fifty f--ing pounds, girl, go to the grocery store and check out 50 pounds of anything! You are halfway to where you want to be - get on it!

It's totally relatable, seems like the halfway point (everything slows down, seems harder, but in reality it's not it's the same it's just my attitude. You have made such awesome progress and you're so close to the finish line even if it seems hundreds of miles away! Also I have had a few fall of the wagon days, I ate whatever and oops gain a few pounds, but to frank I did enjoy it. What matters is you get back on board and it looks like you are! Enjoying watching your progress and can't wait until you hit your goal!

Love your picture and your shirt. You are doing great and you do need to keep telling yourself that too. Trying to fit into smaller clothes can be a double edged sword. You feel elated when it works and so frustrated when it doesn't. Topping that off is some companies make smaller sized clothes! You will win, you are half way there!! I'm rooting for you!

I understand your feelings. I wore a dress the other day I haven't worn in awhile, but all my pants still fit well (maybe a tad loose in the waist, but the thighs are snug). I feel like I've been working so hard that my progress should be faster. However, Rome wasn't built in a day, right? It took awhile to put it on, and it will take time to get it all off. You're doing a fabulous job and I can see results from the pictures you've posted. Keep up the good work!

I know exactly how you feel. although I have lost less weight than you. I think it comes from not quite knowing how long this process will take and not knowing exactly how overweight we were. it helps me to look at old photos and take frequent body measurements. notice little things like being able to see collarbone and fit into smaller clothes. remember, the slower the weight loss the more likely its gonna stay off! you got this.

Gosh, thank you so much, everyone! I am so grateful for the support and the wisdom offered. I am going to revisit this page! I know this is where habit and discipline need to kick in, because the novelty has begun to wear off a bit. Anyway, i really appreciate the comments, and i did do my "makeup" workout, plus today's, plus 1/2 hour on helga. If it stops thundering will get out with the dog.

You are doing so well and look great. Be patient...I know it’s so hard. I have reached my goal but my mind can still tell me I’m fat at times.
