I am doing well. I hope to move to Europe once I am published successfully. My family treats me basically like trash for the most part - and so I have no reason to stay here, and I think things are safer there. The dieting is going well. I will try to do a weigh-in like every Wednesday or so. Have a good day everyone.

The dieting is going well. I may move back to the Philippines too if I am successfully published too. We are having nice weather now, it won't last unfortunately in a few months it will be freezing outdoors here. Have a good day, everyone...

Hi Bren - I lived in the Philippines for a year and a half - the people there were very kind. Hawaii has the best weather, but the Americans there can be quite rude, of all different groups. They are very rude here - a visit to the VA is often a nightmare, the staff there all have attitude problems, it has been that way at every VA I have gone to since 1984. And if you complain to the patient representative she covers it up. And there's no need to speak foreign languages at the VA - I think one has to speak English to join the military last time I checked. Thanks Buffy - I will do it every Wednesday. I have lost some already this week on weigh-ins. Even if I average just a pound or two a week it will add up fast probably since I am less likely to 'plateau' like one does so easily on Atkins.

One young man recommended whey protein supplements. Most people trying to lose work out or should at least be going to the gym every day. I can't go; my back pain is too severe. My nitwit relatives say it has to show up on an MRI. Well, it shows up - like four things wrong including a bulging disc, disc degeneration between the discs and the radiologist commented something like "no reason for pain seen." Who trains these people? Last year I could not even walk for two days and had to go to the ER. (Severe low back pain). And I often have severe chest pain but it is costochondritis, which is arthritis of the ribcage and that area. I have no heart problems. I am going to get a surgical consult soon. My back pain is too much in the bulging disc area. And unfortunately it seems like I know more about the arthritis I have than some doctors who have no clue about it and think you have it once and then it has to be something else. I went for a short walk today but my back is in bad shape now. Anyway, I won't be taking any supplements for muscle gain as I can't work out.
