angeladahl's Journal, 16 July 2018

So over the last 24 hours, I have come to identify my triggers. They are cookbooks, food tv shows and food games. I am beginning to get rid of all that stuff in my life. It won't happen overnight, but I do realize that I can't have these things around me. I also found myself extremely fidgety today. I've been really good today and didn't overeat or binge. I ate when water wasn't cutting it anymore. But I feel like a fish swimming upstream. It's exhausting doing this.

It'll get easier as your new WOE becomes habit. I too avoid cooking shows. I use this site as a place to binge on instead of in front of the refrigerator. Do whatever it takes for you! You can do this!

You’ll get used to it and soon it won’t feel so tedious. And good for you for identifying your triggers and removing them! I don’t care what anyone says, food issues are just like drug and alcohol problems.

When I see fast food commercials on TV, I close my eyes and scream Na Na Na Na! It's one of the reason I try to watch only Netflix.
