Even though I lost weight according to the scale, I don’t seem to see it physically. Does it take time to see a difference even if the weight was lost healthily and gradually?

It always takes me awhile to see the difference *especially* when the weight loss is gradual! Photos help some, but the clothes are what usually show me how far I've come with weight loss!

me too but it does take a bit of weight coming off to notice. depending on how much you need to lose of coarse. dropping 3 pounds off my overweight 150 body showed me nothing. Losing 10 pounds yes I felt the difference in clothes

Have you lost more than 2 pounds? I never see much difference at 2 pounds, but I do feel a difference at 5-10.

You will wake up one day and go VOILA! Omg, it is working ....lol! That's what happens to me, I'll notice my legs are trimmer (I walk a lot) and then your arms, etc. My hubby actually noticed I was losing...and you know how that goes. I bought a smaller pair of jeans and now they're too big!! Too late to take them back so I'll cut off the legs and make shorts out of them (even with the baggy butt). Hee, hee.

Yes, be patient and remember you replaced fat with muscle.

It takes a while to begin noticing a difference. There is no instant gratification on this trip. Only patience and discipline.
