I love, love, love arm day...even when it hurts. But why oh why do I hate core work so much? That's where I need to put in the work so why can't that be my favorite? Lol! So, what's your mind-over-matter trick to overcome your aversion to certain exercise?

I train with a navy seal. I try my best to keep up and not embarrass myself. If I worked out alone I wouldn’t stay motivated. Pride is a hell of a motivator.

When you start seeing results from the work it makes it way less painful and more enjoyable!

All excellent points! I think having a workout partner who is more fit than me would be the key to get my butt in gear. I’m super-competitive and wouldn’t want to be shown-up! Lol! Might have to challenge my 12 and 13 year old daughters...hahahahaha!
