You are doing well. Unfortunately, weight loss is not linear. Trying fasting is a good idea but don't give up or let yourself be discouraged. You are succeeding.

Don't only focus on the scale. There are other victories. Clothes fitting better, having more energy, or seeing progress in the mirror. Your body is adjusting. Give it time

The first 13 weeks I lost 20# and the last 6 weeks I’ve lost about 1 1/2#. I’ve been around 138-140 for those last weeks and I’m ‘reverse dieting’ which means I’m slowly adding calories back to my maintenance levels and now up to my TDEE. Once there I will drop front that 1600 back to 1200. I’m also lifting weights 2-3 times a week at the gym (20-60 minutes each). Perhaps you would benefit from something similar? I also realized that while I’ve lost 13 lbs the last 3 months I’ve lost 9”, 4-5 of that was in the last 3 weeks since I’ve been lifting weights(even though my weight has gone down maybe one pound). I highly recommend weighting AND body measurements. That way when one isn’t moving you can see if the other is. Either one moved down then I know I’m making progress. Just not as fast as I’d like.

I had a 2 1/2 week period where I was bouncing around the same weight. It was driving me nuts. I changed a few food items that were becoming a habit that my body apparently didn't like and did a couple fasts. Finally broke through this week and going down again. Hang in there and maybe change up a few things to keep your body guessing.

I'm always blown away at the support and absolutely love the smarts of my fellow FS peeps. These are all fantastic ideas. Yes I've been wondering if certain foods are not my friends. I do feel like my clothes fit looser and better. I do feel the little differences. Just trying to rack my brain as to what I can do.

Look up the Blood-Type Diet. They have food recommended for each blood type. I used to have issues with certain foods and started avoiding them cause they made me feel like crap. A friend loaned me the Blood Type book and while I was reading the ones it said to avoid for Type O blood were ones I had already started to avoid by listening to my body. There were also a few surprises that everyone says is healthy but not for my Type. That cinched it for me to follow the guidelines. If nothing else it is a place to start.

For me I'm a Type O which is the original blood type so processed foods and most grains (especially wheat in any form) aren't good for me. Oats make me double over in pain for a couple days and are on my avoid list. I can have spelt, amaranth, millet, and rye but not much else. Even some veggies that other consider healthy like cauliflower, eggplant, cabbage, white mushrooms I need to avoid. Beans like Navy and Kidney I shouldn't eat but black beans, Pintos, Adzuiki Beans etc are fine. Pork is bad for me, red meat is beneficial, but Chicken is neutral and does me no harm but doesn't benefit me either. It's interesting how my body reacted when I emptied out my cupboard and tossed everything not on my list. My energy spiked and the weight fell off. I did this diet back in the early 2000s and dropped 150lbs but I fell off the wagon. Now, after gaining it back, I'm doing a modified version of Keto with the BloodType food list. We'll see how it goes.

@00Marx00..that book got me into eating keto without knowing it. I'm also type 0. #cavemanketo woot woot!

@KerryKeto yeah that book really opened my eyes especially since I had made a list of foods that were bothering me. My friend did Chinese Medicine and I showed her the list and described the pain I was in eating "healthy" foods and she handed me that book. I was blown away when I saw the foods listed and the ones I had already eliminated matching up.
