what's the easiest way to get on the keto wagon? website? book for dummies? a calculator? some help please.

I use this calculator, to get articles on keto you can find a ton by just googling keto diet and avoid the ones that are trying to sell you something. there are a ton of helpful articles. https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ Once you have read up a bit on it also look for the pitfalls, generally several of the sites will give you a tips on if you fail to get into ketosis. Keto diet you need to log and weigh food. It is work and it is a diet that will train you to a new lifestyle. I can not tell you how great I feel with the change to how I eat. It is not for everyone, but for me this is awesome.

I'd read a book to get what happens to you. Lyle McDonald has a very good scientific book about it, but it goes in depth. Or you can also Google others that are simple and to the point. I think every person that tries it needs to learn more about it before they dive in. There's a lot more than just keeping carbs low... 😉

It will take weeks, be patient! I wanted it quick, fast, and now! But it didn't happen, this is what I did for over 2 weeks until I finally went into full keto burning. For days and days I started by reducing my carb in take by 10g, also Incorporated healthy fats and other healthy eating. Brought keto testing strips, at 3 times a day at different times a day. Going into my 3rd week I felt stronger and had more control of controlling my appetite and finding foods that kept me full and under 25g. Only yesterday I did the intermittent fasting for 10 hours and drunk water for those 10 hours. This is when I hit my highest ketosis levels 😊 It ain't no fast way, be patient!

There are really helpful groups on Facebook. One is for women only (so the ladies can feel comfortable discussing certain issues) called Keto for Bad*ss Babes. There are a couple of YouTube channels I love: Dot2Trot channel is by a woman who lost over 100 lbs; 2 Fit Docs does a great job of explaining to the layman about nutrition and Keto. I would suggest just starting by using the internet to identify carb high foods and start slowly cutting back. I vacillate between Intermittent Fasting with Keto and without. Find what works and is most comfortable for you. If this is going to be a lifestyle, you can make adjustments as you go.

Nutshell version of Keto is to cook up plenty of bacon, eggs, beef patties, fatty steak, fatty fish, and good sausages. Can be garnished with some greens. Keep it salty. Eat till full and satisfied whenever hunger hits, or stomach feels empty. This is sort of a quick start. Some cravings for sweet and carbs may hit you on the way... shut them up with some more bacon, eggs or similar. There's a huge lot of info out there to study, so while you study, you can enjoy a big drop, and feel you're on the way.

Forgot, be aware of possible pain under right rib, up till right side of neck. It can be a sign that you have to do it gradually, due to a slack gallbladder.
