Shrinking_Shamrock's Journal, 10 July 2018

I know, I know.., back with a vengeance my butt!.., lol.. I've just been crazy busy. I decided I was going to try July without logging my food, so far that has been a HUGE mistake. I had thought that with the 4th and all of my recent stress (landlord just sold my building, new landlord making big changes including big rent increases) along with so many things to do to start preparing for my step-daughters wedding in first week of September that I would be too stressed to log.., I'm seeing that to be more of an issue for me. Right now is when I NEED to log more than ever, this stress is putting the lbs back where I don't want/need them and logging was helping although slowly, to get them off. , along with the rent increase, we will be moving by the end of the year, so, more stress added. just one thing after another., I guess it's just a way to truly test myself and my dedication to my goal. At this rate, I may not make it before September, but, I WILL MAKE IT!, I WILL BE 120, eventually.

Hang in there! I've found logging provides some stability when the world gets squishy. Hope things improve soon, and good luck in your search for a new home.

thanks Tom, I found an affordable 3bed/2bath house to rent, I just hope it's still available when we're back and ready to move

Sorry to hear of your recent realty issues. Those landlords can be brutal sometimes as its all about money.... We've been trying to sell our home, and the increase in interest rates, low housing inventory for us to choose from to move ourselves, has really hampered the market. I wish you well, and a lot less stress. I know it can feel insurmountable at times, just take a few deep breaths, keep chugging along with those wedding plans, travel, and other. Tough patches don't last forever, but it does put strains on you most times at the least opportune times. As for the healthy lifestyle and meal planning, just try your best to make wise choices and do what you can. Try to limit your stress eating. Thoughts and Prayers for you, your family, and better days ahead! Keep up apprised of your situation. God Bless You !!! ;D

thanks everyone! it's just kind of sad, I've lived here since 2006 and this is the 3rd owner in all of this time, it's a building with 16 apartments and some of the tenants have property stored in the basement we are now being told that we have 30 days to remove are stored items or they will be disposed of against our will, also if we have a pet we are now being made to pay a $35 pet fee, and as Renovations are being made rents are increasing from 650 per month to over $900, no one is going to be able to afford to live here anymore, and they're throwing all of this information out of so quickly it's almost like they're just trying to instantly throw us all out. What feels worse to me is that I've been here longer than anyone else and although I hate this apartment, I feel like I'm losing my home., even as a child I've never lived anywhere as long as I've been here.

Well, I feel for ya....and it can be emotional. As an fyi though, apartment rents in our general area has increased over this past year as well. The average rent price here in Michigan as of this year is now $1175.oo to $1350.00 monthly. This to me is bordering absurd, as new home prices are not too much different than these rental prices. Last year they were averaging around 850 to 1000.... Go figure... I really do hope you find peace.

it makes me wonder what drugs these people are on. , they want to charge $920 +$35 for my ferret each month and the apartment is smaller than a motel 6 room
