I have been in the 170s far too long! I get on the scale in the morning and want to cry when it goes above that mark.

Feeling a bit discouraged...

I had a two week plateau and found I had to change things up a bit to bust out of it. I've heard that a sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results! So, try going lower intake on 2 or 3 weekdays (because they are easier than weekends!) and then back up for 4 or 5 days. Step up the exercise. Just change from what you are doing now. You have lost 66 freaking lbs! Woohoo! Your body is just not going to need the same amount of food you needed even 10 lbs ago. Maybe calculate your basal metabolic rate (number of calories you burn without any extra physical activity) at this weight and see where you stand and if your daily intake is out of line. Cheer up! You are so close to your goal!

Evelyn64 is right, your body is needing a change-up. 66 lbs!!! THAT IS SOOOO AWESOME!!! Keep your chin up, I bet if you look at what you've been eating and doing, you'll see it's been too much of the same thing and just need to mix it up a little.

Maybe it would help to write everything you eat down. I know it is hard, but at least try the first half of the day. Good Luck. If I lost what you have lost, I would feel very good about myself. You did something right, now keep on doing that something! focus on the positive!

It's just a number! - just keep working at it and you will be in 160 territory very soon! Remember .... the scale is not the only indicator of an improved body - inches as well as pounds lost. Hang in there my friend - you are doing remarkably well - and I know it gets harder the closer you are to your goal!
