Day off! Ate well, went for a nice two-mile walk. I think it was 2 miles, now I have 7000 steps already. Going to a potluck tonight, and after careful consideration (watched 3 hours of tv instead of shopping) I have decided to bring plain watermelon to the potluck instead of the gazpacho. So much easier! Hah.
Got the farmer's phone number! Looks promising.
The weather is brutal this week - in the high 90's all week. I am sitting here actually cold, I have my air conditioner on!
My little parrot seems to be afraid of my fitbit, so I have to be careful when I am wearing it now so I don't get bitten.
Nice to have two days off - I got to stay at the dance late since I didn't have to get up, and then ironically I woke up earlier than I usually do and got out and took a walk with my friend earlier than I usually get to work.
Sticking to the plan, and now I can see how much I don't stick to a restrictive plan. Flexibility is the key to this plan.

I don't know anything about a bird's hearing, but I had a WiFi networking device that young children could hear give off some kind of (apparently high pitched) noise but adults could not. Does the screen being on or off make any difference? Have a Great Holiday!

Parrots and other birds are so funny. Sometimes they simply do not like any changes in appearance. My Quaker attacks earrings, rings and bracelets. When I wear them they tend to change often. My chickens attack winter gloves with any pattern but if they are plain they are OK. They are very visual critters and are preferential to colors as well.
