So I kind of feel like my best intentions have been for nothing. I had gotten into the habit of walking on my lunch hour most days and had found an awesome beach to walk on close to home. And then what happened? I got rear ended in my car. Now I have a cracked vertebrae in my neck and have been told that I can't do anything for "several weeks". I am NOT pleased with this!! And my lovely sweet boyfriend has been playing nurse all week, which to him means making some of my favorite dishes and stuffing me full of food. I went for a walk yesterday with my friend's 3 year old daughter figuring if a 3 year old is OK doing it, I should be. She got a bit cranky with me because I was the one who gave up first because of the pain in my neck. This was so not how I intended to spend the rest of my summer!!!!
