Today, I was bad. The 5-Day turbo kit doesn't allow much except what is in the package. It gives instructions for adding additional snacks though because the normal Nutrisystem plan allows for things like a low fat yogurt or a slice of cheese. I added those in today. It's not strictly to the 5-day turbo protocol.

I'm already mentally justifying it - I was hungry and my head hurt and I had to eat something to take the headache pills. I stuck within the normal guidelines, just not within the 5-day Turbo rules. I tracked the things I added before I put them in my mouth. My calories were still pretty low and definitely within a reasonable range for weight loss.

It was a screw up but it could have been worse. I didn't eat the donuts my partner brought home or the beef&cheese sticks or the sweet&sour chicken he had for supper.

The Nutrisystem food today tasted fine. Not great but not terrible. I have a persistent headache but it isn't a migraine. It's just annoying. I'm guessing it might be something like sugar withdraw or even dehydration. I'm going to work more on forcing water. I'm hoping it will be better in a few days. In the mean time, even after my extra snack, I'm still hungry. I'm hoping that will get better too as I adjust to the portion sizes.
