My boyfriend and I started following the South Beach Diet on Monday July 9th (Not the first time for either of us!). We did really well with it, up until Wednesday July 18th. We left to go on a camping trip and didn't have much control over the food options there. Upon returning home on Tuesday the 24th, I was surprised to see I had not gained too much weight! The remainder of that week was pretty stressful so I tried my best to stay on track but I did indulge a time or two on alcohol or sweets. Monday the 30th I got back serious. I had leveled off at around 155 lbs. Dropped 1 when I weighed in yesterday. Today I'm up at 157! I think I can attribute that to being bloated for certain reasons. So I'm not freaking out about that. I need to get back on an exercise regimen too. I try to still follow Phase 1 of the Diet. But I will have a glass of wine or a taste of bread or something sweet occasionally, but not enough to say I've reintroduced it into my daily diet.
