Slow and steady. Crash dieting doesn't usually work in the long run. Great job!

Rosio, in my opinion that's the way to do it! Diets only work for a short time and the weight comes back. Changing how you eat in small ways and adapting it to your life does work. So much of life revolves around food and it's not enjoyable to feel like you have to cheat to enjoy your family and friends. It's a matter of personal choices to determine portions like a small sliver of birthday cake over a large one.

a year, 26 lbs down...just because it tastes good doesn't mean you need seconds...it's ok to eat 1/2 an english muffin, little things like that

I am taking your advice, last year I lost my motivation because I was being so strict with my diet , now I am eating whatever I want using portion control , I still have a few days when I eat 30 almonds instead of 12- 15 or one cup of ice cream instead of 1/2 but it's ok, haha . I just make sure to do better next meal
