I would like to start drinking tea more since it can help to boot your metabolism. However, I cannot stand the taste of hot tea and cold tea does not have quite the same effect.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make hot tea taste better, other than honey because that is really expensive?

maybe try different types of tea or make green tea and add fresh fruit like orange or strawberry.

Baskington, that is just something a friend told me. He is the health wiz. Whether it is accurate or not, I am not sure.

Try stevia. Also, try high quality teas. Tazo and Yogi are good brands.

I love Red Rose brand tea. Never bitter no matter how long you steep. Comes in regular and decaf. Best plain black tea I've ever found. Republic of Tea is also a good brand; I find I consistently like their herbal and other teas. Just depends on what you like. Good luck.

I also can’t stand the flavor of tea 🍵 but recently I got a peppermint one and not gonna lie it’s pretty good

I felt the exact same way until I cut out all refined sugars. Now, I enjoy plain tea. Especially Pukka relax.

I use herbal teas. One I use now is chai flavored, with cinnamon and ginger. Some have fruity flavors without the sugar - raspberry and peach are two popluar flavors, and the other is Constant Comment which is an orange flavor. All natural, no sugars.

Lemon tea, citrusy teas, peppermint, cinnamon are all tasty. I didn't like tea until I found all the delicious flavors and now i dont even mind a black tea.

I use The Good Earth's Sweet and Spicy tea. It tastes fine without sugar (and I used to be a sugar-a-holic). I drink at least two cups, hot, each day (actually I have a huge mug and I make it with two teabags). I also brew it into iced tea using 5 bags in a Rubbermaid pitcher. I like the tea with caffeine best but they make a non-caffeineted one, too.

I don't care for flavored herbal teas except for mint. That's nice hot or cold. I also like Earl Grey. Keep trying different types until you find what works for you!

The longer you drink it the less gross it tastes. ❤️

Constant Comment is really quite tasty, and we tend to be coffee drinkers. It’s got an orange clove essence. Earl Grey (vetivee essence) gets another vote, as does Chai. Any can be drunk hot or cool, sweetened or whitened (milk).

Fruit tea + lemon + cloves

You want to try green tea for the antioxidants. Try a dash of cinnamon or a squeeze of fresh lemon. Delicious cold too. One of my favorite teas is hibiscus 🌺. Constant Comment as Marta mentioned is good too. Personally I don’t use any sweetener. To me, sweeteners tended to cover up the true flavors of the teas. Peppermint, spearmint, licorice, so many flavors!
