BREATHLESS! I just calculated my BMI:
69.75" tall, 205.5 pounds = BMI 29.695!

Who ever thought that being "OVERWEIGHT" would be a VICTORY? It is, because I am no longer "obese"!!

BMI Formula
weight in pounds
twice divided by height in inches
multiplied by 703

I was excited when that happened to me as well so I know how you feel! Congratulations, it's a great victory. I need to lose 15-20 pounds to no longer be overweight.

Ches, at my height and build (69.75"; apple, with terribly scrawny "diabetes" legs that used to be my best feature), and with all the "elasticized waist" stuff I have, skirts and pants don't change much. But I just bought a slew of 1X (Women's Plus) tops, down from 3X's! I have size 24W jeans that I've saved. I'm down to a 20W jeans. I have regular size 18 jeans that I wore in my 30s, but my body shape just isn't the same over 30 years later. I've never had "hollow" arm pits, but I had protruding cheekbones and hip bones (iliac crests) when I was swimming and lifting at age 30 and 160 pounds. I think when I start swimming and lifting again, my shape will change more.
