2. I will be going stag.

3. I the trouble creeping in!

Someone go with me!! Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I'm seriously thinking about not going because of this.

I think it is important to have a life and also, to the extent possible, compartmentalize my weight loss grind and my social life. I grind my ass off, then go play. When I play, I both think in advance about how I might make good choices in the given circumstances, and I give myself permission to go completely nuts. Lifting and protein loading in advance can help moderation. I also attempt to stay away from any conversations about diet and weight loss. Good luck!

jimmie, I too am and have been a big believer in work hard, play hard. I like to go to the extremes as well. One of my big problems I would say is that no one I'm close to understands what I'm doing with my wt loss. But you're right! Always right!

I have gone stag (well i am a woman so maybe just dateless) to a number of weddings, and some that i did not drink at (i like to drink too). I wouldn't say it is my favorite activity but it can be done. I just have soda water with a twist (it looks like a mixed drink if people care) eat the steak and asparagus, skip the cake and ask people questions about themselves and their spouses and kids until the dancing starts Then i get the h out of there. ymmv. Good luck!

I'm with you! I love drinking beer and that love got me fat! Lol! I quit drinking for 155 days on the diet that I did. It sucked but honestly after a month or two it really didn't bother me. Feeling great in the morning rather than crap made it a lot easier. The older I get the harder it is to recover. Now as a bonus, I get a buzz after 4 beers!! haha Good luck to you!
