I am done. Finished. Two years and zero progress. I’m tired of stressing, I’m tired of waking up early to go to the gym, I’m tired of feeling guilty for allowing myself a donut every now and then, I’m just tired. I have resigned to the fact that I will always be this weight. I have nothing more to give. I’m throwing in the towel. Tomorrow I start my new life of simply maintaining. I had a goal...one that seemed attainable at one point. I don’t see it anymore and that is ok.

I noticed that you haven't been logging your food intake or weight frequently. It seems like when you were more active here you were making excellent progress. I suggest that you not give up...

I can relate to the feeling. I've felt that way often. Especially the past year or 2. Seems like I stay at a high and not much keeps it going down. I try to take one day at a time. Most difficult is Friday night through Sunday. But now that I've started a 3 day fat/stall woe MTW It kind of helps keeps me in line at least during the week. But still very frustrating. Maintaining is a good idea and then maybe throw in a day or 2 during the week of following some plan that works for you. take care!

Doesn’t matter how many times it takes. What matters is you get up and keep going forward. Don’t give up.

I have been right where you are. Months later I wanted to try again (so what you feel right now is not how you will feel in the future). When I tried again, I found fasting. For the first time ever I was able to lose weight at will. This is just my story, you will find yours. Good luck!

Two years and no progress? How many times have you sabatoged yourself with food choices? I know, have been struggling with weight all my life and just turned 63, today. I have no intention of quitting. It's the easy way out. Food is not the enemy. It's our perception of food and for me; stress eating (happy, sad, angry, tired). Add to it, I have several autoimmune diseases which have caused a dramatic weight gain of 40 pounds in the last two years and I require a walker for mobility. I am headed to my 1.5 hour workout now. If I can do it, so can you.
