Hello out there...Just checking in. My husband is finally on board with the whole healthy eating, exercise weight loss thing I have been struggling with for 10 years. We joined a gym together and are loving it- although it's only been 2 weeks :) We are using a different website that comes with the gym membership to log our food and stuff, but I do miss the community here so I will be checking in from time to time. I've been keeping my calories right about 2000 a day.Trying to cut down on sugar and sticking with lean meats, whole grains and veggies most of the time. This is good for me because I am still losing but definately not starving. To lose extra weight ( more than 1 lb a week ) i just do more exercise. I have been shooting for 500 cal/day burned. Typically I do 30 minutes of cardio and then work either my arms, legs, and/or core with weights. I will check in again soon and let you know how it is going!

YES! Happy you have a HOME BUDDY now too! Support at home is soooo helpful. Makes things less stressful when you aren't cooking two dinners AND less tempting when you're the one cooking the food you can't have. Good Luck!!

Hi, thanks for the support! We have had a couple of bad weeks but hoping this one proves better...My poor little guy (9 year old boy) broke his arm leading to lots of appointments, late days and missed gym time :(
