The Jillian Michaels "No More Trouble Zones" strength training workout is finally getting a little easier,.. (or maybe a little less agonizing? :)
I must remember in the future, when my schedule gets difficult, that staying even relatively in shape is so worth while, even if I can only do the workout once a week.
It's taken such a long time, so much effort, and holding my breath through little knee aches, or hip pain, hoping they'll subside so I can stay on my workout schedule and get back in shape.
Throwing up my arms and saying "I can't do my regularly scheduled weekly workout, so screw it, I'll take a week off", so easily turns into weeks off... even months off. And then ... starting all over.

I've gotta bust the all or nothing mentality, and realize consistency is key. Some strength training, is ALWAYS better than none.

I've also gotta realize the impact gaining and losing, getting into shape, and falling out of shape must have on my body. As I turn 30 this year, I really need to think more about my weight and fitness ups and downs, and consider the stress that must put on my body. I feel very young, but there's no reason to stress and thereby age my body through sheer carelessness.

Hey, I'm doing No More Trouble Zones too! The lunges KILL me haha. The first week it was so hard for me to even get through the whole dvd without stopping. I can finish the dvd now and it seems a bit easier, but those forward and backward lunges are so tough on my calves. (I guess that's the point? :P)
