I just added 10 lbs to my goal weight (from 125 to 135.) After three months working with a trainer, I haven't lost any weight. I HAVE however lost 4% body fat. At age 51 I am now both stronger and have more endurance than ever before in my adult life. My trainer reassured me that my original goal was entirely unrealistic if my small framed 5'7" tall body is covered with lean muscle rather than fat. She pointed out that her beautifully fit and slender 5'5" frame weighs an astonishing 140 lbs.

For the first time in my life, I am truly beginning to believe that the scale really does in fact NOT matter, that muscle weighs more than fat, and that healthy is more beautiful than skinny. :)

Congratulations on the loss of body fat. 4% is awesome!! I have lost 2% in the past two months and have a goal to lose 3% more. Sounds like you have a healthy attitude.
