Tomorrow is weigh in day. Not too excited about it one way or the other. Diet was good, exercise so so. Didn't cheat, splurge or overeat. So why am I not excited? Because I'm beginning to think my scale is not the best measurement of my progress. I've been on this new eating plan 6 weeks today. I feel great. I hardly get headaches anymore. I have more energy. I've lost 3 pounds (not counting what ever happens tomorrow). Sure that averages out to 1/2 pound a week, which is okay I suppose. As I said in an earlier entry, my fat is very attached to me. We've been together most of my adult life. And I'm over 50. So it makes sense that the weight is coming off sloooooow. I'm hoping that Tuesday will be a different story. That is tape measuring day. I have my measurements from 6 weeks ago to compare. I know my clothes are looser, so I'm hoping for a good outcome. Wish me luck. I will post the results on Tuesday for all to see. Yikes!
