Well, i think i may have blown it. It is like a zillion degrees out and i overslept the alarm that i set to get out early with the dog to beat the heat! Today is rest day otherwise, and i start t25 in earnest tomorrow. Let the complaining begin! I don't do well in the heat, and i have been lazy lazy today. Also, even though i took it waaaaaaaay easy when i previewed the first t25 vid yesterday, this morning i definitely feel my abs and tush!

Will spend some time later doing food prep. I replenished my fruits and veg yesterday, so i will do a bunch of cleaning and chopping. I will prep lettuce and chop purple cabbage, roast green beans and brussels sprouts and steam cauliflower. I will wash berries. probably make tuna salad to have on hand for the week.

Then i will probably have my chili cheese dog and homemade (lightened up) potato salad. 😂

Fun fact: i chose the carrot avatar because i have been eating tons of carrot sticks, in hummus, guacamole, salsa, laughing cow wedges, salad dressing. I decided after literally decades that for whatever reason, i don't like baby carrots, but i DO like full sized carrots cut up into sticks. So every so often my wrist gets a workout chopping 2# of carrots. And that day is today! (Or tomorrow, lol.)

Because it is rest day, and because it is so beastly hot, all i am doing is walking the dog and watering the grass i am growing from seed, and the above mentioned cooking, as well ad the accompanying cleaning of the kitchen. After that, i am literally going to hole up in the ac and watch chick movies! Well, that is pretty much what roomie catagorizes any movie that does not have explosion, slashers or space travel.

Ok i better go brave the heat! The image is of a previously-eaten hotdog.😁

If you can find bags of baby carrots that are labeled "baby cut carrots" rather than "baby carrots", they are regular carrots that have been cut down and polished to look like baby carrots(because baby carrots sell better than regular sized uncut and unpolished carrots i guess). Might save you some wrist work every now and then.

Ty! I never knew if they were actually baby carrots or nibs and nubs that had been repurposed. I think it is that they get kinda yucky after a time and the sticks stay fresher and satisfy my urge to munch. I have been discovering that if i give up a little convenience i actually am better about eating the stuff.

And ty about the hot dog, lol! As it happens, it is cloudy out and so even though it is humid, it isn't that baking heat (more like steaming) so puppy and i did our walk. So now i feel too lazy to deal with the cooking, haha. Oh well, the kitchen is clean and stocked, so i am good!
