Sous vide chicken breast and rice!

It's for our aging and ailing pup, not for me. Half that amount of rice would be pushing my daily carb limit!

FYI, there is a lot of info on canine keto for cancer treatment, weight loss, etc.

And, we stay away from lean/low fat protein (mostly because it doesn't taste as good) but if you are from the camp that eats chicken breasts, pork tenderloin and other low fat and difficult to cook (easily overcooked and dried out) foods, please consider getting a sous vide immersion cooker. The prices have come down and you don't need a name brand with wifi and bluetooth. $50-$60 and you will consistently make the most tender and juicy chicken breasts - every single time. It's a game changer!

Thanks! She has aggressive cancer and stopped eating dog food of any kind, totally uninterested. Chicken and rice? It gets inhaled!

My beloved dog was diagnosed with aggressive cancer as well. I had cooked for her for some years already (i am that kind of dog person) but tward the end i added chicken broth. She ate great until her dying day. My new dog doesn't like my cooking! Ha!
