have not wanted to follow Atkins for months now. I'm forcing myself today!
187.8 lb Lost so far: 0.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Why are you forcing yourself? If you don't like the Atkins diet, try something else! You'll never lose weight if you have to force yourself to eat a particular way. Find a way of eating that's enjoyable.

There are other options. I lost weight on Atkins years ago also but can't stick to it because I-Like-Bread :)

I hope you bust the yo-yo scale thing. I don't do highly restrictive diets. I just try to eat clean. I keep away from anything that comes in a box, with exception to my 1.5 oz of my daily morning of Kashi. I also stay away from white flour. Some see this as restrictive, but for me I embraced it as a permanent WOE and don't have to fret everyday over what I'm eating. I was injured in a bad accident and was off exercising for six weeks and actually lost 5 lbs (but gained a lot of fat). I'm pulling for you.
